The 2nd General Assembly Meeting of the PhilNITS society. I went there w/ Cris and soon Mr. Hao. I arrived at Tiara Oriental Hotel (Makati) by 9AM. This day is important, as induction of the new members will take place soon.
There’s lots of passers from April and October 2006 FE exams. Most of them are grouped by companies (probably they took the exams together). The guests arrived and soon we’re hearing national anthems. (J’s like some BGMs we usually hear in RPGs… nvrmnd).
Then I tried to familiarize myself w/ different faces. There’s a co-PhilNITS passer from UPITTC and we talked about Nippongo and some stuffs. I hope I can learn Nippongo in the same level he’s it now. I also saw one of my suggestions in the main discussion (PhilNITS forums). I just hope they really give some time for it, as I found it beneficial, especially to new passers like me.
And we’re given another certificate, a membership certificate. Somehow, there’s a thing that can prove that I passed the FE. I’m not that biggie to be able to join such organization in an unorthodox way. The certificate + the FAITH logo….ehem, PhilNITS logo pala.
Then shortly it is lunch-time. I think the food is too much for the crowd (though the utensils are not). While eating, there’s someone who tapped me in shoulder and whoa!~ it is Mr. Abion (interviewer for the JITEC study). We had a short talk as important persons are really busy in events like that. Yet on those short time, he gave me another advice but this time regarding Japanese Language. I just hope I can accomplish something like he did in the near future.
Well, I just hope this things can turn the tide of my fate.
Tips for future passers:
1. Don’t go in maong pants. Try to wear something that is not baggy. This is a formal event. Try to give the best performance.
2. Don’t be shy. Be ashamed if you went all the way there just to sit idly on watch your co-PhilNITS members (or if you just went there for the food *anyway, the one who said it is kidding*). Interact!
3. Enjoy!~ and dream more for the future!
